This is an open Web Site available to all comers. Be aware that the main focus is toward the air crews, and maintenance
personnel who flew in and worked on the KB-50 aircraft during the Cold War years 1955 through 1965.
The story has
been lost for a number of years and we are trying to get these dedicated people some recognition.
One of the last remaining
KB-50 is on display at McDill AFB in Tampa, FL. It is deteriorating fast and needs to be moved to a museum or facility
capable of full restoration. If we, the TAC Tanker Association, don't take steps to save this aircraft no one else will
make the effort. The delay has been too long already. We need to act now!
Thanks to Lou Chapman for these
KB-50 shots
Today this would be called multitasking
